I am extremely myopic with astigmatism. I can’t have lasik surgery because my corneas are too thin - they can’t shave enough off to significantly improve my eyesight. I also have “dry eyes.” I’ve done some research over the internet and saw recently that the fluid removed from the center of the eye during lens replacement used to be replaced with saline, but cloudiness was a problem. I read there is a new fluid now used that simulates normal fluid. I’d be interested in your experience and anything you know about the procedure, what to expect, healing and the new fluid replacement.
The procedure is the same one used for people with cataracts and has been used for years. My main concern is the fluid used to replace the fluid removed in order to perform the procedure.

I have 20/20 vision in my left eye, but my right is blurred. Doctor says I have a lazy eye, and it’s been this way since I was a child. Can Lasik eye surgery correct this even though I’ve had this vision problem for decades?
