Don has just returned to the room, surgery was cancelled, and they are going to perform laser treatment a bit later instead. The surgeon said he saw no need for invasive surgery. The surgeon is a different doctor than the one he has been seeing, and this was the first time he has seen Don’s eyes. The first laser treatment is complete, and tomorrow we’ll find out if it worked. If so, next week he’ll do the other eye. So now it’s a waiting game.
