Laser Eye Surgury, Lens Implants?
Be Real asked:
Well, I’m going to have a Lasik consultation early next month with LasikPlus vision center. I am curious what kind of risk is involved with severely nearsighted people. I’m a contact lens wearer with a prescription of -6.5 in both eyes. I was just informed by my eye doctor that I have a floater in my right eye. I’m sure my Lasik doctor at the consultation will tell me about my eligibility, but I’m more interested in my risks, or risks that the doctors might not be telling you. I also want to know, since I have such a high prescription, if Lens Implants are a better option. I really don’t know anything about them but I have heard that they are more for people with really severe prescriptions.
Any doctors with the information?
Any regular folks with positve stories or horror stories?
Thanks.

I have been reading nightmare stories. Will I go blind?
powershaker asked:
I had Lasik eye surgery to correct my near-sightedness, and I used a good doctor and LASIK Plus Vision Centers in Atlanta, Georgia. After I had the procedure, I could see perfect without glasses, but I started reading all the nightmare stories on the internet, and watching LASIK YouTube videos. I am really scared now. I am thirty-seven, and I wish I had never taken this risk. I was fine with my glasses, and I wish I had them back. However, now there is no going back. What are my chances of going completely blind? I can deal with the bad night vision and halos around lights at night. I just want to know I won’t go completely blind.

Can I have Eye surgery?
John G asked:
I have had Amblyopia in my left eye since I was 4. My mom took me to a vision therapy center. After a few years, my vision was corrected, but not perfect. It might never be,but it was MUCH better than before. But I’m 16 now, and I **** wearing glasses and contacts, and I”ve been doing so since i was 4 years old. But is there any other way of fixing my vision so i wont need them? (Therapy, surgery, Lasik?)

How much longer for my husband’s travel reiumbursement from the Army for his PRK at Walter Reed?
hott_kiss911 asked:
My husband is a SSG in the Army and he went down to Walter Reed Army Medical Center for PRK, which is basically lasik eye surgery. He was there from the 11th-18th of August and filed for his travel reimbursement on the 19th. We were told it would take 1-10 days to hit our account and it’s now already the 4 of September. We’re counting on that money and it’s just a huge pain in the *** because now we’re already overdrawn 154.00, so out of 1187 we’re only getting a little over 1000 back, but I was wondering when I could expect the money to hit our account?

Should it be soon because it’s already been longer than 10 days?
We have a dining out to go to as well and that’s another reason we need it so I hope ya can help me find out the information. Thanks!
we’ve checked his mypay account. the system they used to file it is different so it’s not going to show up there
The guy he filed it with said it wasn’t going to show up in mypay because of the different system or something that they were using
